The NIT Allahabad GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. As per the Cutoff scores, the ranks ranged between 353 and 675 for different M.Tech courses, for the General AI category candidates. The most competitive course was M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, while the least competitive one was M.Tech in Material Science and Engineering. For the OBC category candidates, the most competitive course was M.Tech in CSE, with the Cutoff score of 628. Candidates can check the category-wise NIT Allahabad M.Tech Cutoff in this section.

There is no assured estimated cutoff for NIT Allahabad, since the cutoff depends upon various factors. However, As per the experts and the past trends, a score of 90 or above percentile for general category and 80 or above percentile for the reserved categories should be good enough to get you a seat at NIT Allahabad. To know more about it, candidates can refer to the official website or Shiksha.

MNNIT Allahabad doesn't provide a single fixed cutoff mark for admission. They are based on percentiles or ranks in national entrance exams and these can vary slightly every year depending on factors like:Difficulty level Number of applicantsAvailability of seatsThe following entrance exams are considered:BTech - JEE Main scoreMTech, MSc, MCA - Scores from GATE, JAM, NIMCET respectivelyMBA - Scores from national level management exams like CAT, MATIn 2024, the cutoff percentages for some courses were as follows: Civil Engineering - 74.73%,  Computer Science and Engineering - 91.54%

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the MNNIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 4908 and 38537, among which Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4295 and 29798 for BTech. So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to MNNIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4295 and 38537 for the General ALL India category candidates. Candid

IIT Dhanbad offers BTech admisison based on JEE Advanced scores, whereas MNNIT Allahabad admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main scores. However, if you are qualified for the exams and getting both IIT Dhanbad and NIT Allahabad for CSE admisison, you must look for all the important aspects such as CSE cutoff, placement, NIRF ranking and course fees, etc. JoSAA Round 1 cutoff is out for admission to the BTech courses and CSE turned out as the most competitive course. JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per MNNIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 12422 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electrical Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 19772 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at MNNIT Allahabad has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 4738. In 2023, it increased to 4777. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 7107 to 1735 for OBC 14371 to 965 for SC 36978 to 362 for ST 6860 to 799 for EWS 96 to 137 for PWDThis trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

MNNIT Allahabad will release 7-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.
