No, you are not required to appear in both MP TET Paper 1 & 2. You can appear in either Paper 1 or 2 depending on your desired teaching level. The MP TET test is divided into two papers: Paper 1 is for those who wish to teach Classes I to V. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach Class I to VIII must appear in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. Candidates can appear in Paper 1 & 2 according to their teaching preferences. For instance, if you want to teach Classes 1 to 5, you can appear in only Paper 1. Similarly, if you wish to teach Classes 6 to 8, you can appear only in Paper 2.

The MP TET examination consists of 150 questions, each of which carries one mark. Candidates do not lose marks if they answer incorrectly. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must score at least 60% of the total marks. The exam is divided into two parts, one called Paper 1 and one called Paper 2, each of which consists of 150 multi-choice questions with a maximum score of 150 marks. The content of each paper is different, so candidates must appear for the one that is related to their desired level of education.
