Yes, the MP TET exam is conducted on a single day but in two different shifts. The details of the MP TET exam shifts has been given below for the candidates:Shift 1 is conducted from 10:00 am-12:30 pm for MP TET Paper 1Shift 2 is conducted from 2:30-5:00 pm for MP TET Paper 2However, the shift timing can be changed by the board. Though, the candidates will be informed by the board before if any changes are made for the MP TET exam.

No, you are not required to appear in both MP TET Paper 1 & 2. You can appear in either Paper 1 or 2 depending on your desired teaching level. The MP TET test is divided into two papers: Paper 1 is for those who wish to teach Classes I to V. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach Classes VI to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach Class I to VIII must appear in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. Candidates can appear in Paper 1 & 2 according to their teaching preferences. For instance, if you want to teach Classes 1 to 5, you can appear in only Paper 1. Similarly, if you wish to teach Classes 6 to 8, you can appear only in Paper 2.

The MP TET syllabus is revised and updated by MP PEB on a regular basis. However, the syllabus does not change drastically on an annual basis. The syllabus of the MP TET is based on the subjects covered in the Primary and Upper Primary School Curriculum. The objective of the syllabus is to test the candidates’ knowledge, understanding and pedagogical ability related to the subjects. However, minor changes or additions in the syllabus may be made from time to time depending on the development of the education sector and the demands of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
