MP TET

MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options and a single correct answer. The total marks for both papers are 150, with each question carrying one mark. The distribution of questions and marks in each paper is as follows :-Paper 1: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper 2: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science.It is important to note that each question carries equal weightage, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the MP TET exam.

The duration of the MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam is 2.5 hours (150 minutes) for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to qualify MP TET Paper 1. Candidates planning to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to qualify for MP TET Paper 2. Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to qualify both papers. The candidates have to apply for the papers according to their eligibility set by the board.
