Eligibility for most of the colleges across India is as below. Public health being a multidisciplinary area, people can apply from a varied academic background. The minimum requirement for the course is at least 50% marks in any Bachelors degree from a recognised university in India and abroad. However, some colleges conduct their own entrance exams. If you wish to have a career in the non-clinical field and move abroad, MPH is a good option. Also, in case, you decide to go to the USA for your MPH and later want to practice dentistry, it'll be a great step for your admission in a college for DDS.
