Typically, the use of ‘Dr’ as a title is associated with individuals who hold a doctorate degree, such as an MD or a PhD. The title ‘Doctor’ is commonly used for medical doctors, dentists, and individuals with doctoral-level degrees in various fields. An MPT is a postgraduate degree, and individuals who hold this degree are generally referred to as ‘physiotherapists’ or ‘physical therapists’. While the MPT signifies a high level of expertise in the field of Physiotherapy, it does not confer the title of ‘Doctor’.
