MRSPTU campus is quite safe for students. CCTV cameras are installed at the university. There are guards on every entry and exit point which restricts the entry of those who don't have ID cards or entry permission. The safety and security is the utmost priority of the university. Also, there are committees that take care of the student's safety and security.

However, it is not mandatory to appear for CMAT as admissions are also given on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination. Selection to other courses is done on the basis of marks of the qualifying examination.
