The scope of the profession of social working is wide and limitless. In this profession, you can easily find jobs in organizations that are connected with helping people. You can be employed after your graduation such as in schools and other youth-serving organizations, hospitals, medical clinics, and nursing homes, mental health agencies, and many others. In future, this will never happen that the job opportunities in this profession will end.

Hi Azi!
It is upto you, which field attracts you the most and where your interest lies. MSW candidate is well suited for the roles such as Counselor, Trainer and many more which lead to organisation development. Journalism, on the other hand, makes you a reporter, correspondent, news anchor, camera person etc. If remuneration is your priority, I would suggest you to go into Journalism. If not, and social work is more important to you than pay scale, MSW should be your choice.

Hi,
Social work overall has a good scope but you will find more options recognition abroad. Some of the best sectors where social workers are in demand are in the medical field like public health workers, rehab centres dealing with substance abuse and mental health patients, child welfare, schools, community services, etc.
