The Maharashtra University of Health Science offers admission to the BSc programme on merit basis and on entrance exam basis. The university accepts  National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to few of the BSc specialisations such as Nursing. The exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. The eligibility criteria for the BSc programme includes twelve years of school education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC; 45% aggregate for PWD category candidates) along with English as one of the subjectsAlso minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission is mandatory. (Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any category of applicants. Also, there is no upper age limit.)
