Multimedia is the field related to computer controlled integration of texts, (still or moving images) graphics, drawings, audio and animations. The information/content in the multimedia can be represented through digitally (audio, video and animation) in contrast to traditional media.
Eligibility criteria:
Minimum education qualification for a degree and Diploma course in animation is class 12th or its equivalent from any recognised institution. Graduates from any stream are also eligible to join the post-graduation course.

Hi,
It is up to you because as your skills are going to improve you can think differently and there are lots of options in multimedia. With few short term certificate courses you can move to web editing or work as a freelancer or in animation areas. It totally depends on you.

Before opting for animation and VFX related domain in India, be sure about the institute and its placement assistance. Ask them if their exams are getting conducted on time, if results are published in time. I have seen 90% of the students suffering due the above said issues after opting for a university certified graduation and other certification programs. According to me, you should join a long term certification course where the content of the course, duration, and almost everything remains the same. The price that you pay will be lesser, but all the responsibilities remain on the institute, hence easy to communicate in need, also,

Animation has nothing to do with any of the previous academic records. What you really need for learning animation is basic knowledge of computers. Also, you need to be passionate, artistic and patient.
If you opt for career programme, it starts from basic line drawing to advance animation and visual effects. Practice as much as you can, explore as mush as you can.
