Admission to any course at NSHM Institute of Health Sciences Durgapur is not done based on the scores obtained in the MAT exam. To be eligible for the UG and PG courses, the candidate must have passed class 12th and graduation respectively from a reputed board or University with 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission to the MBA is done based on the scores obtained in the KMAT exam. KMAT Cutoff scores for 2024 admission have not been released yet. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in a relevant stream from any recognised university.

The eligibility criteria for MBA at Sir MVIT are as follows:Candidates who have completed a recognised bachelor's degree programme lasting at least three years or an equivalent examination and who have obtained at least 50% of the total marks possible in all subjects, including languages, across all years of the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the MBA program.Candidates from SC, ST, and Category I of the Karnataka state will only be eligible for reservations.
