Yes, candidates who have not qualify COMEDK UGET can still apply for NIE Mysore admission to BE course. Aspirants can join NIE Mysore through KCET or JEE Main scores. The institute also has reserved some seats under the Management Quota (MQ). It also has one seat reserved under the Sports Quota, which is offered to the candidates who have represented the Junior/ Sub-Junior team of Karnataka/ any other State of India/ Union Territory of India at various state, national, and international sports events.

NIE Mysore BE fee is INR 2.6 lakh. The fees might include components other than tuition fees.The BE tuition fee is calculated on the basis of first year. Hence, the actual amount may vary. Aspirants need to pay the course fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the institute. Besides, the programme fee, candidates also need to pay a registration fee in the start of the admission process.

Admission for M.Sc courses will be closed soon on 31st October. To apply for M.Sc student must have first completed its Bachelor in microbiology and then apply in different colleges. Most of the affiliated colleges in Mysore University will close the admission in October end but Maharaja college and Yuvraj college will take admission till November end.

Both the VVCE Mysore and NIEIT Mysore College are well known for their placements. The highest package offered at VVCE Mysore in 2022 stood at INR 33.30 LPA. On the other hand, the highest package offered at NIEIT in 2022 stood at INR 43.50 LPA. According to the official website, a total of 3,126 students were placed in 2022 at NIEIT. Whereas, the participating recruiters offered 904 job offers to the students of the batch 2023 during Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering placements 2022.
