Please check the previous year cut off of this college. Only 50% of the marks in Diploma final year are considered and 50% of DCET marks are considered. Aggregate of these two marks are considered to calculate the rank. Based on your rank you will get the college, if you have a reservation and a good rank you will get this college. Please specify your rank and reservation category.

Why do you want to waste 1 year for it? Just go for few more counsellings, and get the best college. If you didn't get your preferred college, then go through the entrance exam.
