Hello Ruby,
The eligibility criteria for getting admission in M.Tech course in any college or university inside India is that you must have either completed 4 years' engineering programme, which is B.Tech, or you have should have completed your Masters degree in the relevant subject. Coming to your specific case, you have to complete M.Sc in physics or any other allied discipline.

It cannot be said that nanotechnology is better than CS and IT. As all the fields are good in their respective areas. It's just that nanotechnology is a new field and will be developing just like CS and IT.
