Actually, Sastra University is a good choice for all departments. In Integrated medical nanotechnology, it had excellent labs, infrastructure, funded by central government. The course started back 3 to 4 years, so yet placements in that course need to know still.

Hello Paramita,
Which is better course between nanotechnology and Robotics? As a matter of fact, both these courses ore of recent origin at least in India and both of these hold great promise of very high potential in the future. Robotics is actually becoming a way of life in many big industries in India these days but on the other hand nanotechnology is not yet that applied in the Indian context. My personal opinion is for you to go for robotics rather than nanotechnology. However if you are interested in design and research in future then perhaps nanotechnology is the branch you should aim for. Best wishes to you.

Hello Hema,
Nanotechnology after class 10th is your query. Right? Presently at least the syllabus for class 11th and class 12th is tightly controlled by the states or the CBSE, and there could be a chapter on nanotechnology, but definitely it will not be a full-fledged subject. Nanotechnology is a much specialized branch and presently it is available at the post-graduation level only. So, you will have to do your graduation in Science or technology, and then look for specialization in nanotechnology at that point in time. Best wishes to you.

If you want to become a nanotechnologist that works in an entry-level research job such as laboratory assistant, you typically need a Bachelor's degree in nanotechnology, nanoscale engineering, or nanoscience. This can be done through government colleges in different states as they have less fee structure.

Hello Abhishek,
Nanotechnology is indeed the technology of the future. It's going to be the in thing. Lots of professionals trained in nanotechnology will be required as we progress. Hence I strongly advise you to go for it if opportunities crop up.
