NATA examination is divided into 2 half, one being aptitude section which has 120 marks and drawing section which has 80 marks. The drawing section checks for the conceptualization and realization of the concept by the candidate, depending on the representation of the candidate the marks can be scored. Candidate can score a full 80 marks if the drawing is perfect. The average the highest scores being 55-65 marks.

You may register your name along with scores in NATA and 12th with the state education authority, based on which a rank list will be announced and counseling dates will be announced, after which the student can choose the merit seat in college based on his rank allotted.

No, there is no negative marking in NATA exams conducted by Council of Architecture.

You may submit the NATA registration number to the counseling center who can in turn ask Council of Architecture for details regarding the same.

The Council of Architecture determines the NATA exam pattern. NATA is conducted in an offline mode and it is a three-hour exam in which multiple choice questions are asked from maths and general aptitude. Candidates will have to undertake a drawing test which will be of 90 minutes.
2 marks are awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
Candidates have to select the correct answer by coloring the bubble in the OMR sheet by using a black and blue pen.
