As NIOS is a valid and recognized board of education and is equivalent to other national and state education boards. If you have satisfied the eligibility criteria posted by MNCs, then the NIOS certificate will not affect your placements.

Hi Arun,
Yes, you can certainly pursue Masters in Journalism if you have completed your Bachelor's degree (any stream) from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50%.
In order to pursue Ph.D in journalism, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
1. Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minimum of 55% marks and an MPhil from any recognized University or Institution of Higher Learning OR
2. Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any subject, with 5 years experience in the Media Industry/Teaching/Research in Mass Communication.
