No, direct admission is not valid at NIBM Pune. Admission to PG course at NIBM is entirely entrance-based. Candidate need to qualify for respective entrance exam, followed by PI round to be able to secure seat at the college.

Yes, entrance exam is completely mandatory for admission to NIBM Pune. Candidates are shortlisted based on their scores obtained in either CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GRE or GMAT entrance exams. The entrance exams carries a total weightage of 35% in the entire selection process.

You need to crack CAT and CMAT, that too above 95 percentile and have to crack the interview too. Mostly in the interviews, they are going to ask about your experience and if it suits their college then you are surely in.
