The total intake this time is 90. As far as WAT is concerned, any of the general topics may be asked. What matters is your writing skills and how you will put down your ideas and thoughts regarding the topic given. Read daily newspapers and cover the editorials. Not only the business news but also general news as well. Be up to date.
For PI be very particular as to why you want to pursue banking and finance, why NIBM?. If you have job experience, then about your job profile, current economic situation, basic questions on banks, about yourself, your hobbies etc.

As you may be aware that NIBM is an autonomous apex institute set up by the RBI and banks. All of the current final year students have been placed very well, thus maintaining the legacy. As far as BIMTECH course PGDM - IB is concerned, you have to check the details with them.

Yes it is possible that other than banks you may also get placed in credit rating agency like ICRA, or auditing and advisory like KPMG, Deloitte or even in software like TCS, Wipro or in payment systems like in NPCI. Check the website www.nibmindia.org for full placement and profiles offered. After the PGDM in banking and financial services you will have much wider scope.
