Sir, the National Institute of Design does not have preferred NRI quota seats. Instead, it provides admission in the following categories:
1. General
2. General (EWS)
3. Scheduled Caste (SC)
4. Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL)
5. Scheduled Tribe (ST)
6. Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
Apart from that, it provides admission to 15% of seats under the Foreign Nationals in Overseas (Supernumerary) Category. For this quota, the applicant must be a citizen of a foreign country. These seats are available at the NID Ahmedabad and the NID Madhya Pradesh. According to the criteria, non-resident Indians (NRIs) who have Indian citizenship are not eligible

The candidate must check the eligibility criteria, test centers, no. Of seats, reservation policy & all the information regarding the admission to B. Des programs. NID admission 2023 is based on the national-level entrance test known as the Design Aptitude Test (that), which is conducted in 2 stages Prelims and Mains. NID offers a Bachelor of Design programme across eight courses.

NID offers the following B. Des. Courses in following disciplines:
1. Ceramic and Glass Design
2. Product Design
3. Furniture and Interior Design
4. Animation and film Design
5. Exhibition Design
6. Film and video Communication Design
7. Graphic Design
8. Textile Design
While NID also offers M.Des. In 19 disciplines and few of them are the same as above.
