Anticipated on the basis of last year trends, the minimum score required for NID Ahmedabad for BDes is 65.8 and for MDes, it must range between 80 and 90. 5 in NID DAT exam for the Open Category students. NID Ahmedabad admission to both BDes and MDes is offered through NIT DAT exam.The design institute offers BDes at UG level and MDes at PG level across various specialisation in the field of Design. NID Ahmedabad cutoff to BDes and MDes courses is based on NID DAT followed by counselling. The Open rank for BDes for NID Ahmedabad cutoff 2024 offered through NID DAT is estimated to be around 47, with a cutoff score of 65.8. For MDes, candidates must have around 80 - 95.4 score in NID DAT for NID Ahmedabad admission.The aforementioned score and cutoff are anticipated on the basis of previous year trends for Open category students for a total seat of 144.

Yes, all B.Des candidates who were shortlisted for NID DAT 2024 counseling had to summit their campus preferences. The window to submit campus preferences was open from May 21 (4 pm) to May 23 (4 pm). The preferences had to be entered in the order of priority. Note that the allotment of seats to the B.Des programme will be based on the campus option selected and merit rank of the candidate in NID DAT 2024. So, one must bear caution when entering their preferences.

The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the admission hanbooks for the B.Des and M.Des courses. It contains the list of exam cities for DAT Prelims exam for each course.As per information given in the M.Des Admission Handbook, the DAT Prelims exam in the following cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada.The candidate can select their choice of exam city when filling out the NID DAT 2024 application form.

The National Institite of Design (NID) will conduct the DAT Prelims exam for both the B.Des and M.Des programs on December 24, 2024. The admit cards for the two programs will also be released on the same date, i.e. December 12, 2023.To download the admit card, the candidate needs to go to the NID admission portal - admissions.nid.edu. On the portal, the M.Des DAT Prelims admit card download link will be given.Click on the link, and then log in using your email id and date of birth. On successful login, you can download the admit card.
