The sample papers for NID can be downloaded from the official website of NID - admissions. Nid. Edu. Alternatively, the candidate may download the previous years question papers and sample papers from this page. To download the NID sample papers, the candidate simply needs to click on the relevant sample paper they need to download; there is no need to log-in to download the sample papers. The sample papers are available in downloadable pdf format. Candidates may note that sample papers contain questions similar to the ones that are asked in the actual exam.

The candidate will be provisionally allowed to appear for the that Prelims and subsequent tests, if shortlisted, based on the information furnished by the candidate in the application form. Note that is the sole responsibility of the candidate to provide / upload valid information and certificates at the time of submitting the application form. The detail entered by the candidate will be verified during NID counseling. On verification, if the information furnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or invalid, the candidate can be disqualified. Further, the decision of NID will be final and binding in this case.

Indian nationals who belong to the General and General EWS categories need to be born on or after 1 July 2003 to apply for NID that 2024. In the case of candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, and ST categories, candidates born on or after 1 July 2000 may apply. Meanwhile, PwD candidates who are born on or after 1 July 1998 may apply for admission. The candidate needs to ensure that meets the age criteria before filling out the application form. Seats will be reserved for various categories at the NIDs as per the norms of the Government of India. For instance, the seats available for the BDes and MDes programmes are classified into different categories like Open, Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, etc. The candidate will have to select their admission category at the time of filling out the NID DAT 2024 application form. Of the total seat intake, 10% of seats will be reserved for Gen-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, and 7.5% for the ST category. No, the date of birth cannot be changed in the NID application correction window. The candidate will also not be able to edit their name, the programme applied for admission, registered email id, and phone number, in the application form. Note that these details are entered by the candidate at the time of registering for the NID DAT exam. While filling out the NID application form, candidates have to enter their personal, academic, and personal information. They are also required to upload a photograph and signature, and caste Certificate if applicable. In case of candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, they also need to upload a category Certificate. PwD category candidates will also have to upload the relevant Certificate.The category and PwD certificates should be in PDF format and max 2 MB.Meanwhile, the photograph and signature should in JPG/JPEG format and within 75-100 KB.
