If you find that the spelling of your name is not correct on your NID (National Identity Card) admit card, you should immediately contact the relevant authorities and inform them of the mistake. You can contact the NID office or the concerned department and explain the situation. They may ask you to provide your correct name spelling and may request you to submit an application with a photocopy of your original identity documents. Once your application is processed and your identity is verified, they will issue you a corrected NID admit card with the correct spelling of your name. It's important to take immediate action because if you appear for the exam with the incorrect name, it could cause issues during the verification process, and you may be denied entry to the exam.

If you have registered for the National Institute of Design NID Entrance Exam 2023 and are appearing for the exam at one of the exam centers, you will need to carry the following documents with you:
1. NID Admit Card: You will need to download and print the NID Admit Card from the official website and carry it to the exam center. The admit card will contain details such as your name, roll number, exam center address, and other important instructions.
2. Valid Photo ID Proof: You will need to carry a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID card, or Driving License. The ID proof should be original, valid, and should match the name and other details mentioned on the admit card.
3. Passport-size Photographs: You will need to carry two passport-size photographs to the exam center. The photographs should be recent, colored, and identical to the one uploaded during the online application process.
4. Any other documents as specified: Depending on the exam center or any specific instructions mentioned on the admit card, you may be required to carry additional documents such as caste Certificate disability Certificate etc. It's advisable to read the instructions on the NID admit card carefully and carry all the required documents to the exam center to avoid any inconvenience or disqualification. The candidate was given the option to select NID DAT 2023 exam centres from April 3 (4 pm) to April 5 (4 pm). The test centres were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of candidates who failed to select test cities, the system automatically allocated test cities based on the availability of seats in respective test centres. The details of the test centre allocated to the candidate are mentioned in the NID DAT 2023 admit card. The NID DAT Mains 2023 Studio Test for B. Des was held on April 30, 2023.
On the day of the exam, the candidate had to report to the exam centre as per the timings mentioned in the admit card.
