The questions around package and companies are useless unless you specify a domain/discipline (too broad, no insight). Several graduates tend to start their own studio. According to LinkedIn, 377 out of 3500 graduates are Entrepreneurs (Nowhere close to the 60% stat by Submit Shah, but I hope he can give some source). Popular companies (based on number of NIDians employed) are Cognizant, Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, Samsung, Godrej, HFI etc. All your main/sub questions lead to one destination that is how much money you can earn after graduating from NID.
