Since NIFT Delhi is the top-ranked center of all the NIFTs, candidates must be extraordinary to get through it. It depends on which department you would like to opt for. For instance, fashion design fills up the fastest as compared to other courses. To be safe, I would recommend being under 30 if you are from the general category, or below rank 50 for other categories. The cutoffs change every year, and the competition increases along with them. In order to go to NIFT Delhi, a candidate must be among the best.

Yes, candidates are required to appear for a written examination, which includes a Creative Ability Test CAT and a General Ability Test GAT for admission to the NIFT Delhi B. Des programme. In order to apply for the hostel, students must pay INR 23,000 + INR 25,500 (INR 8,500 X 03 months = INR 48,500) before joining the hostel. It is air-conditioned and has twin sharing rooms with all the basic facilities such as an almirah, desk, chair, B.Ed etc. There is a narrow balcony and big windows which don't open. Strict discipline, curfews and good conduct are always maintained in the hostel. It's well connected to Green Park and Hauz Khas metro station.

In order to take admission to NIFT Delhi, candidate's age should be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2023, and you must have passed Class 12 from a recognised Board of Secondary Examination, New Delhi, and/or Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi to apply for the NIFT Delhi. To get admission to NIFT Delhi, candidates must apply online through the official website of NIFT Delhi. The final selection of the students is based on an entrance exam which is conducted by the institute.
