Well, of course you need to be very good at English vocabulary which, for me is the key point to crack the GAT paper. Apart from English, one should practice class 10th level Maths.
General knowledge is important related to every field. Not only GK, but class 10th level history, geography, general science is also a part of the paper.
Regarding CAT, it doesn't matter if you are not very good at drawing, what matters is the idea and the concept one uses to depict something in particular through the drawing.

The fee for Masters program is 4 lacks in total. For Bachelors it's little more. Here is a link to the prospectus of NIFT. You will find all the details related to fees and other charges.

The timings of the classes are 9 AM to 5:30 PM. It may change based on your weekly schedule.
There's nothing like a learn and earn scheme but you can always work as a freelancer to earn enough money to make your ends meet.

One year course is a diploma course whereas the 4 year course gives a degree. You should first try for BDes or BFTech and keep this one year course as a backup
