Nift has a centralised placement process. Companies can opt for on-campus placements by registering for Nift Patna placements or companies can offer jobs to students before the on-campus placements, this is known as pre-placements offer (PPO). Nift Patna offers a good package in B.Tech. Its placement rate is 75-80% of students got placed. the highest package offered was INR 4.5 LPA. Notable companies participating in the placement drive included Mantra, Levi's Aditya Birla Group, RIL, and Shahi Exports.

B Des placements at National Institute of fashion technology Patna are good. Majority of the student ie, 90 percent of the students got placed with good pacakges. The highest pacakge offered to BDes students was 22 LPA and 4.5 LPA was the average. Many good companies like Nykaa, H& M, Aditya birla, Amazon were the top recruiters at the placement drive. If we talk about the return on investment, the total fees for any B Des course is 12.34 lacs and average package is 4.5 lpa. Students get a decent return on their money invested in the fees.

The rankings of NIFT Delhi is higher than NIFT patna. But we talk about specifically about placements, in the 2023 placement drive, NIFT Patna offered better placements. The above statement can easily be justified by taking a look at the packages. The average pacakges of both the Institutes were around 4.5 lpa. The main difference was seen in the highest once. At NIFT delhi the highest pacakge offered was around 15 lpa, while at NIFT Patna the highest package offered was 22 lpa. The difference can be easily seen. The placements are good at NIFT Bangalore. Talking about on campus placements, the average package offered is 3 LPA, and there were total 2100 offers in year 2022. The Designer students are placed at better levels as compared to production students according to the statistics provided. Various top level companies like Infosys, Nalli, H&M, Nalli, etc., recruit students from NIFT Bengalore. The college has excellent programmes to build students and give them a strong platform and foundation
