Yes, this is possible. The NIFT have the total number of 518 seats in B.FTech course in its various NIFT Colleges location in India. Out of 518 50 seats are reserved for NRI/ OCI/ Foriegn National/ SAARC students. Hence you can avail this benefit. Foreign Nationals (whether residing in India or abroad) and Non Resident Indians, who are citizens of India holding an Indian passport and have temporarily immigrated to another country for six months or more for work, residence or any other purpose and who meet eligibility and admission requirements of NIFT can also apply for admission. B. Des. in Fashion Design is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The program is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate's chosen stream of study.

Students who have passed Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination can pursue the B.Des course.
Moreover, there is no restriction of stream at 10+2 level therefore; students can pursue the course irrespective of streams i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts and Humanities.
The age limit for admission to B.Des courses is minimum 19 or 20 years as specified by the institutes at the time of admission.

Candidate who have passed either 10+2 from a recognised board or have passed Diploma after 10+2 or who have passed 10+2 with 1-2 years of work experience are eligible for the admission.
