The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare has a refund policy for fees, but generally, rules and specific timeframes are governed by the institute. Generally, if a student withdraws his admission prior to the commencement of course, he can get the money refunded after adjusting some processing fee. General eligibility for the PG Diploma courses offered at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare is a bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained from a recognised university. The NIHFW is course-specific as regards to charges. Post Graduate Diploma programmes like, say, the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management, the scale of fees amounting to around INR 40,000 to INR 60,000 per annum for the MPH programme, approximately INR 50,000 to INR 70,000 a year would be charged. On top of these, some levy registration fees, examination and study materials among others under separate heads.
