No, NIMCJ Ahmedabad is not hard to get as the admission is based on merit and entrance exams. For BJMC, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Whereas, for MJMC, common eligibility requires a bachelor's degree and a valid score in the MACJET entrance exam. The in-house entrance exam is comparatively easy to clear.

NIMCJ Ahmedabad has been ranked 29th under the Mass Communication and Media by India Today. The College offers BJMC and MJMC courses affiliated with Gujarat University. Further, the college has a decent placement record with top recruiting companies such as Reliance, News18, Zee News, Disney Hotstar, and ANI News.
