Total 60 seats are available for MJMC ( Masters at Journalism and Mass Communication) at NIMCJ Ahmedabad. However, the program is a 2-year full-time course with tuition fees of INR 2.40 Lakhs and course fees of INR 2,00,000. Additionally, students are required to have a minimum score of 50% for admission to the MJMC program.

BJMC admissions 2023 are either done through a university level entrance exam or on the basis of merit acquired by the candidate in their 10+2 ( Minimum 50%).CUCET, CUET, LPU, NEST are some entrance examinations to BJMC course.NIMCJ Ahmedabad conducts its own entrance i.e, MACJET for admission to the institution for BJMC and other post graduate Diploma (PGDMCJ) in Mass Communication and Journalism. The entrance is held through online mode whose application form and payment can be  submitted through online only before the deadline published by the institution. The entrance is usually held between the month of MARCH - MAY.

Applicants who want to get admission for BJMC ( Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) at NIMCJ should have a basic 50% aggregate in their 10+2 for general candidates from recognised institution, and 45% for other SC/OBC/ST candidates. The eligibilty criteria for BJMC needs that the candidates must pass their 12th or equivalent examination with 50-60% marks. The admission is also based on the entrance exam conducted by the Institution. Overall the candidate must score a good qualifying marks to get into the institution both in their 10+2 and the entrance exam held keeping the cutoff parameters in mind.

The fee stucture is a little expensive on the side. The course costs 1 Lacs per year and the students must make the payment at the beginning of each academic year. The overall course fee ranges from INR 47, OOO to INR 2,00,000 depending on the choice of course and years including.
