NIMHANS Bangalore and Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre are both considered top medical colleges in Bangalore. Out of 77 students, NIMHANS Bangalore placed 72 in 2021. The 2021 batch's median pay was INR 7,20,000. For 3-year UG students, the average package was INR 6, while for 4-year UG students, it was INR 7.20. Nearly 30% of the students of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre were placed. The cutoff for UR/OBC admission to Bangalore's National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences  (NIMHANS) in 2024 is 50%,  while the cutoff for SC/ST admission is 45%. In 2021, out of 77 available seats, 72 students were successfully placed. NIMHANS median salary for the 2021 batch was INR 7,20,000. Similarly, in 2020 and 2019, with the same seat intake, 74 and 75 students were placed respectively. And Each of them received a median salary of INR 7,20,000.
