The selection process for NIT Durgapur's Integrated BSc + MSc course is entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the five-year, integrated course must appear for JEE (Main). After appearing for the exam, they must register for JoSAA/CSAB counselling for seat allocation. Based on their rank in JEE (Main), a merit list of shortlisted candidates will be released. The total tuition fee for the Integrated BSc + MSc programme at NIT Durgapur is INR 75,000 for five years. Additionally, selected candidates are required a one-time fee of INR 15,500. The NIT Durgapur fee structure also includes other miscellaneous charges payable every semester. The total amount of these charges is INR 16,600. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category are exempted from paying the tuition fee but they have to pay the other charges. NIT Durgapur does not provide a BSc programme, but an Integrated BSc + MSc programme in Chemistry. The duration of the programme is five years. It leads to a dual-degree, i.e. a BSc and an MSc degree in Chemistry. NITD has an intake of 19 students for the five-year programme. Admission to the programme is based on JEE (Main) ranks and seats are allocated through JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
