Getting into NIT Hamirpur's BTech programme with a 90 percentile in the JEE Main exam  increases your chances. Your percentile translates into a rank based on the performance of all JEE Main test-takers. This rank is the primary factor considered for admissions at NIT Hamirpur. Cut-off ranks for different BTech specializations vary. The cut-off ranks for these categories can be lower than the gen

With a JEE Mains percentile of 76, it might be challenging to get admission into NIT Hamirpur, especially for popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics. However, cutoffs can vary each year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of applicants, etc.

Based on the information provided by you it is unlikely to get seat in NIT Hamirpur. The JEE Mains cutoff is generally higher than that of 73 percentile, even with state quota and being SC category. Therefore, it is best to look for alternative options such as applying to state university council or retaking the exam to improve your score.

With this rank of 1.5 lakh, you will not be able to get any of the branches that is available in NIT Hamirpur. You should look for another NIT or IIIT.As per the available data on the Josaa counseling, last year cut-off was only 20,000 rank for OBC home state quota. You can apply for TES for SSB otherwise you can also apply for Indian Navy 10 + 2 b Tech based on Jee Mains scorecard.

No 61.13945 percentile is not sufficient to guarantee admission to NIT Hamirpur. The cut-off percentile for NIT Hamirpur is typically above 60, and it varies by category and program. The cut-off percentile for NIT Hamirpur in the general category for the B.Tech programme in 2023 was around 95, as per the JoSAA round 6 data. Therefore, it is unlikely that a candidate with a 61.13945 percentile score would be eligible for admission to NIT Hamirpur, especially in the general category. However, the cut-off percentile may vary from year to year and depend on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam,
