NIT Rourkela MBA admission is entirely entrance-based. The selection process begin with the release of the application for respective entrance exams. Candidtaes have to qualify for the exam and fill an application form on the official website of NIT-R for admission to MBA course. Next, the shortlisted candidates will be called for a GD and PI round for the final selection. All the selection parameters have been given different weightage in the admission process. To be eligible to get admission to MBA course at NIT Rourkela, students are required to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria for the course. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree of three-year duration from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) are eligible to apply for the course. The students appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification or awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

To get admission to MSc course at NIT Rourkela, candidates seeking admission must hold a valid Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute/ university with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates). In addition, the aspirants who have appeared for their graduation exams in 2023 are also eligible to take admission.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in PCM are eligible to take admission to BTech courses. Further, it is also necessary that the applicant qualify for JEE Main and JoSAA counselling. Candidates shall have academic certificates as well for verification purposes to prove their eligibility.

First of all very congratulations for securing 132 marks. In 132 marks, your percentile will be around 96-97 and CRL will be around 35000-45000. Now if your home state is Odisha, then there is most probably chance that you can get there and infact with god branch, but if you are from other state, then there is little bit low chance from previous one but maximum possibility is that you can get seat there but in this case branch may be not of your choice.

In my opinion, you should keep yourself cool instead of taking any pressure. JEE Main has been conducted twice this year and a lot of students have given both the exams. Hence, predicting specific colleges is a quite difficult job. So participate in all JoSAA counselling rounds timely. I can only wish all the best.
