The companies which come for campus placements are L&T, PPL, Shapoorji Pallonji, TATA Housing, TCS and various others. The average package offered vary from 3.5 to 6 Lacs depending on your skills and information about the area of expertise. So, if you come here and grasp the knowledge given to you, nobody can stop you from getting that the highest package!

NIT-Rourkela is one of the best branches. For general category candidates, to qualify for admissions to NIT, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam. For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. It has the highest placement record which gives 100% placement to the students. The average salary for different science branches is around INR 5 to 8 LPA. Many companies visit the campus such as Dell, Microsoft, SAP Labs, Direct, Goldman Sachs, NCR Corporation, Oracle Apps, Cloud, Financial Services, Samsung, and Ericsson.

The placements for NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology (NITRKL) - M.Tech in Microwave and Radar Engineering is quiet good and has an average pack of 6.5 LPA where last year recruiters are Deloitte, Essar etc.

NIT Rourkela is one of the most reputed colleges, not only in India but abroad too.
The minimum criteria to get admission, for general candidates to qualify for admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, they should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in class 12th exam conducted by the respective boards.
For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12th. The placement is also good for all the branches. Almost all students get placed in good companies.
