CPCU exam cost is included in the college fee. So it is paid by college. Age is not a criteria during placement in NIA by private companies. At the time of Joining the allowed maximum age limit for General & NC-OBC is 26, for SC& ST it is 28 years. Work experience is a criteria looking by companies mostly by IT sector. But more than 4 years is not appropriate.

You will be getting a GD & PI call. GD PI will be in second last week of this month most probably (21,22), and will be held at NIA Pune Campus. Batch is mix of graduates from B.Com, B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc. etc. Almost 40 % students are from commerce background. Class comprises of 50% freshers as well.

AICTE approved intake is 120. But Management decided to take students up to 90.
Due to the hostel constraints.

PGDM program in NIA aims at providing management education with focus on Insurance to the younger generation especially the ones who would like to make a mark in the sunrise industry of insurance. The PGDM programme is run from the same campus where middle and senior level executives from insurance industry come for executive development programmes. The student get a chance of observing the executives from a close quarters and also get the opportunity to attend various National and International seminars along with the executives and listen to industry veterans. NIA gives you dual specialisation where insurance is compulsory. You will be placed in insurance domain. Getting into core finance will be tough though.

You will be placed in insurance company for marketing. In GDPI only in PI you may be asked why insurance and why NIA.

Yes it is. As per aicte norms only 1000 will be deducted and the rest will be refunded.

Your 12th %age is less than 50%, and as per AICTE norms you should have atleast 50%. So, I dont think there is any chance.
