It is never too late to start with anything. For the preparation of CLAT to get into NLSIU, there are many examples who had prepared for just few days and cracked it with flying colours. Even my own mentor is a live example in front of me, he has prepared for just 60 days and earned his degree from NLUJ. 8 months are more than enough. You just need to be stay consistent and strategic. CLAT is not an exam which you can crack just by becoming a bookworm. You really need to be aware of what is going on globally. Speedy reading is the utmost key of cracking CLAT. Start attempting mock, attempt it everytime just like you're giving your exam. On the exam day, give the exam just like you're giving mock. NLSIU Bangalore have the all modern amenities for students as given below. University have separate Male and female hostels. Hostel amenities:
1. Each student is provided a cot, cupboard, chair and desk
2. Hot water and Laundry facilities

5. Sports facilities : The University has made several upgrades to its existing sports facilities including a new 200-metre running track near the football field. All sports facilities, including the Football Field, Basketball Court, Throwball Court, Volleyball Courts, Tennis Court, and the Badminton Courts have been cleaned up and marked and will be open to students, staff and faculty from 6 am to 9 pm. The University is also actively exploring partnerships to set up a dedicated sports centre on campus in the near future.

There is no question as to which one among them is better. In terms of ranking, exposure, faculty, NLS has an edge. Not denying the fact that even NLUD is progressing quite impressively and their infrastructure might be better than NLS (because of it being quite new), it still lags behind on certain parameters to NLS. Apart from having, perhaps the best law library in the country, NLSIU has an unmatched alumni network which would take at least 15 years for NLUD to come even close to it. Considering NLUD was established only in 2008 but has still managed to be one of the best law schools of this country, if given a chance, I would still strongly suggest you to go for NLS Bangalore. Some might suggest you to go for NLUD because of its proximity to your home but I think you would learn, explore and enjoy your college life more only when you move out to a different city, away from your parents and learn everything by yourself.
