The minimum educational qualification required to pursue this course is 10+2 Science stream schooling with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Nautical science refers to the basic knowledge which is required to safely navigate and operate a ship. The subjects include navigation and seamanship. Seamanship is the basic operation of shipboard equipment and tools.
About the course
The three year B.SC Nautical Science is a course which is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, which falls under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The three year B.SC course is strictly residential.
