Even those candidates who have attempted the 12thstandard examination in 2017 but the results have not been declared will be eligible. Marks Required Minimum aggregate of 60% must have been secured by the candidates in their 12thstandard (or equivalent) examination. Candidates should have scored at least 60%.

The course does not have any physical eligibility criteria. Some institutes may have their own rules but they are not standard. If you are planning for Merchant Navy, 150 cms is the minimum height eligibility.

Basically, it depends on the college in which you are taking admission, as in some private college they take their own entrance exams and acknowledge the same for the admission and in some colleges they also take admission through JEE Mains score.
