You can opt for science stream and can give class 12th exam, second time. But, you have to pass class 11th with science stream only.

No NCERTs are just the base for the exam but you will have to prepare on a much higher level than that. You can take help of coaching materials or Pradeeps book or HC Verma book for physics. RD Sharma for maths.
