Yes, you are eligible. The NIOS certificates have equal validity as CBSE and State boards certificates have. However NCHMCT requires English as compulsory subject at 10+2 level. So you have to ensure about this. Eligibility criteria :- A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in
NCHM JEE-2019 on provisional basis.

The eligibility for age: Candidates born on and after 1st July 1997 are eligible to take the exam. Still, there are other universities which offer a degree in hotel management viz IIHM-Aurangabad.

The rank too low to get IHM Mumbai. Its one of the best colleges in IHMs. So demand is always high. And the cut off goes very low. Please try IHM Ghandhinagar Gujarat. Thanks

I think IHM Gwalior is not a bad choice with this rank. It is a central government IHM. However, if you want to wait for the third round, you can. You can also check your position by using the following link. All the best.
