Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 if they cleared their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects studied. Apart from this, candidates will meet the eligibility criteria for NCHMCT JEE only if they have secured passing marks in English (core/elective/functional) in their qualifying examination. Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent exam are also eligible to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2018 on provisional basis. However, admissions offered on provisional basis will stand cancelled if the candidate fails to submit proof of clearing the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or the latest by September 30, 2018. NCHMCT JEE 2018 Application Form is out now. The application form is available online on the official website of National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT).
The NCHMCT JEE written exam will be conducted to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality programmes offered by colleges affiliated to NCHM. Interested candidates can check their eligibility before the submission of the application form. Candidates will be eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE if they have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent examination) from a recognized board with English as a subject. Candidates are given the choice to fill their NCHMCT JEE 2018 application form either with or without their signature and photograph. Clicking on either of the links, aspirants are provided detailed guidelines on how they can successfully fill the application form for NCHMCT JEE 2018. The exam will be held across 33 test centers in the country. Candidates can apply for the NCHMCT JEE exam on the official website of NCHMCT which is an autonomous body falling under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Scope for NCHMCT JEE is much better as compared to IIHM eCHAT as mentioned below. In my opinion if you have a choice between the two, you should opt to appear for the NCHMCT JEE.
International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) conducts an Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) to offer admission to candidates in hotel management programs on offer by the institute. This entrance test is also known by the name of Combined Hospitality Aptitude Test.
IIHM entrance exam is a national level test. After clearing IIHM eCHAT candidates are further shortlisted for admissions on the basis of their performance in the group discussion and personal interview round.

By clearing NCHMCT JEE 2018, candidates can secure admission in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 22 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, one Public Sector Undertaking and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT. Apart from this, a total of 12 Food Craft Institutes, 2 SIHMs (running only Diploma level programme). All these colleges offer standardized course curriculum as prescribed by NCHMCT for the various programs that they offer.
