As per the records last year cutoff in general category of B.Sc at IHM Bangalore was 2151. According to last year Rank vs Percentile comparison. If your percentile is 70 then your rank will ranges betweeen 1000 to 3000. If your are lucky enough you will get amission at IHM Bangalore for sure. If you belongs to anather category other than general then getting admission chances will be higher than before.

It's possible, but competitive: 70% is a good score, but IHM Kolkata is a top choice, making admission competitive. Last year's cutoff for the general category ranged from 142 to 2143 rank.Category matters: Cutoff varies based on your category.
