Institute of Hotel Management Guwahati can be the best option for you. IHM Guwahati offers B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Management course of three years of duration. Admission to IHMs is based on ranks secured in NCHM-JEE (An Entrance exam) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The eligibility criteria for B.Sc. HHA course is given below.
1. Eligibility criteria: 10+2 in any stream, Those appearing in qualifying exam (10+2) can also appear in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will be cancelled on non-submission of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission or the latest by 30th September of the admission year. The decision of NCHMCT regarding eligibility shall be final.
2. Age limit: Not more than 22 years for GEN/OBC/PH category candidates and 25 years for ST/SC category candidates as of 1st July of the admission year.
3. Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a certificate of physical fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given in the Information Brochure.
