Depending on the year and the exam's general difficulty, an NDA score of 400 can be regarded as highly competitive. To put things in perspective, the NDA exam has 900 total points and is composed of two papers: the General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics. The NDA written exam has historically had cutoff scores that vary from 300 to 360, depending on the competition and exam complexity. For example, it is anticipated that the NDA-2 2024 exam cut-off will fall between 305 and 315. A score of 400 would put you above these anticipated cut-off points and indicate a strong performance, particularly if it was attained with a high accuracy

The unofficial answer keys are released few hours after the exam is commenced and are reliable as they are prepared by an expert panel of coaching institutes. Having said that, the unofficial answer key may not be 100% correct as compared to the official answer keys which is published by UPSC. The NDA marking scheme is UPSC-mandated. The marking scheme indicates the points given for right answers and the points taken away for incorrect responses. In maths, 2.5 points are given for right answers and 0.83 points are taken away for incorrect answers. Four marks are given for right answers in the GAT, while 1.33 marks are subtracted for incorrect responses. Out of 900 marks, the written exam score is determined. The candidates' scores are determined by the examination authority using the marking methodology.

You can't directly download the NDA cutoff scores, but you can find them on the websites of various educational portals and sometimes on the official UPSC website. You can search online using keywords like "NDA 2024 cutoff" or "UPSC NDA previous year cutoff marks". Look for tables or information mentioning "NDA Cut Off Marks" or "UPSC NDA Cut Off". These tables typically show separate cutoffs for the written exam (out of 900 marks) and the final selection (out of 1800 marks).

The minimum qualifying mark for the NDA written exam in every subject and the overall aggregate should be at least 25%. Students scoring the minimum marks and more will be able to make it to the merit list only. The candidate will have to get at least 360/900 marks to pass the written examination in order to be selected for the SSB interview. Moreover, students can get good marks once they start practicing and understand the proper syllabus and pattern.
