No, you cannot attempt NDA in class 11th. You can though attempt next year in the month of January when the applications are out. Please read the notification once of the NDA exam to check the eligibility criteria, syllabus, etc.

You do not need to be that good in GK, as it does not count. Register for the NDA exam that occurs every year and do well there.

Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board. For Air Force & Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics and mathematics subjects. NDA Selection Process - Written and Final Round. NDA Exam is conducted for recruiting candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force in NDA (National Defence Academy) and Naval Academy. The Selection Procedure for NDA is divided into 2 stages - Written Examination and Interview. Thank you.

You have to register under UPSC and then you have to prepare for the written test. After eligibility, you have to prepare for group discussion and personal interview round. For more, visit NDA's official website.
