The minimum eligibility for the NDA exam requires passing the 10+2 examination with specific subjects depending on the chosen service. Not everyone can appear in the NDA exam without Physics and Chemistry.Army Wing: You should have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognised board.Air Force & Naval Wings: You should have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics is mandatory.

Wherever two or more candidates have secured equal aggregate marks in NDA & NA exam, the ties are resolved in accordance with the following principles approved by the Commission:In case of equal marks in aggregate, the candidate senior in age may be placed at higher rank andIn case of the candidates having same age and same aggregate marks, the candidate getting higher aggregate score in written papers may be placed at higher rank

NDA 1 2025 notification was released on December 11, 2024. NDA 2 2025 notification will be released on May 28, 2025. NDA notification PDF is made available on the official website. The notification PDF comprises details related to the exam such as important dates, eligibility, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, selection process, etc. Candidates, must read the notification carefully before applying for the exam. The recruitment process is carried out as per the details given in the notification.

An aspirant to enter into the National Defense Academy for Political Science has to write the NDA examination that is conducted by the UPSC in order to qualify for the exams. Apply only by a candidate who is a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who settled in India before January 1, 1962.
