You are eligible to join non-commissioned officer rank jobs in different trades after 12th by appearing for selection examinations conducted by Airmen Selection Centres of Indian Air Force. IAF hires commission officers through NDA exam conducted by UPSC with PCM subjects in class 12th board.

Your question is not clear. In order to seek commission in three services, NDA is the best option after 10+2 stage.

If you have maths as your additional subject then only you can apply for NDA because for NDA physics, chemistry and maths are required.

Indian Air Force had hierarchical organizational structure. Freshers are commissioned in IAF in the rank of Flying Officer in various branches such as flying, technical, admin, logistics, met, education and medical etc. Officers grow in rank with experience and performance as Flt Lt, Sqn Ldr, Wg Cdr, Go Capt, Air Cmde, ACM, Air Marshal and Air Chief Marshal. There is no job known as Air Commander. Are you looking for information on Air Commodore in Indian Air Force or are you looking for information on Commander of Civilian aircraft ?

You cannot join merchant navy by appearing for NDA exam. Recruitment for Indian Navy, Army and IAF as a Commissioned Officer is done through NDA exam. Lot of Indian Navy officers move to merchant navy after few years of service by seeking premature retirement.
