After clearing NDA, you will become a commissioned officer i.e. the post of lieutenant. After that you will get promoted according to your performance and record.
After clearing NDA Exam you will be send to National Defense College, Pune for 4 Years Commissioned Training in any one of the wings of defense services I.e. Army, Navy or Air force. Only after completing successful training you will be given RANK of:
1. Rank wing
2. Lieutenant army
3. Pilot Officer air Force
4. Sub Lieutenant Navy
After clearing NDA Exam you will be send to National Defense College, Pune for 4 Years Commissioned Training in any one of the wings of defense services I.e. Army, Navy or Air force. Only after completing successful training you will be given RANK of:

2. Lieutenant army
3. Pilot Officer air Force
